What says about this photo printer:

1. This was purchased as a replacement for a worn out all-in-one printer from a different manufacturer. It is used primarily as a text and graphics printer and photocopier. The quality of printed materials, in both black and in color, is excellent. Copy quality is also excellent. The Canon uses five ink cartridges — CYMK for color work, a separate black for black-only work. I’ve been in the computer industry for fifty years and have owned and used many different printers. I highly recommend this printer.

2. I’ve bought many items from Amazon and have never rated them–whether good or bad. But, I’m making an exception for this printer.

This printer was an X-mas gift from me to me and I have absolutely no complaints about this printer and all–and I’m a picky individual mind you.

It’s easy to install, document quality is excellent and the pictures are amazing. I recently got married and with the exception of about 2 ’special’ prints that I had done at the local Kodak store–I have printed all of my wedding pictures on this printer. From 8 x 10’s to wallets–you name it, I’ve printed them & every single picture looks gorgeous. I highly recommend it…

What says about this photo printer:

1. After using the HP 7550 for a number of years I received well spirited bad advice and switched to an Epson R280 because of compatibility with an IMAC OS 10.5. I discovered inaccurate color rendition, ink that required 24 hours to dry and was dissatisfied with its skimpy plastic construction. The first printer arrived with a broken paper easel. The second had the same poor color symptoms with Photoshop or the Leopard photo programs.
The HP D7560, solidly built, knocked out my letter size, borderless prints almost accurately. I did notice that an increase of contrast helped to approach the brilliant color on the Imac screen. The ink dries in a few minutes. There is little difference in final results between Photoshop or IMac programs. There are perhaps a few too many bells and whistles, since I use Photoshop to process my shots. But there are some great features for those who wish to use the printer for processing. With the discounted price, the D7560 seems to be a bargain. I still wonder when they will make a quiet printer.

2. I’ve been using an 8 year old HP Deskjet 830C and decided I needed something better especially for photos. Wow, did I find it in this D7560 Photosmart. I ordered on Friday, received on Monday and after about an hour of setup time I am up and running. The test photo of my subject was unbelievably good. The subjects look like they could walk out of the photo. You do need to provide your own USB cord for connection but everything else is included in the box. I am really impressed with this printer and highly recommend it.

What says about this photo printer:

1. I picked up my Sony PictureStation last week. I had also considered the Canon CP 220, but decided on the Sony after I saw the prints from one at a friends home.

Installation was very easy and all went flawlessy. Setup consisted of installing the driver to my computer and hooking up the power, and usb (remember to buy a usb cable)…then inserting the printer cartridge and paper. The printer has a very small form factor and takes up litle space on my desk. I was printing 10 minutes after opening the box.

The prints are beautiful 4×6 pictures. Prints take about 1.5 minutes and are smudgeproof and waterproof right out of the printer. I would compare them favorably to photo lab prints. Cost is around 40 cents a picture if you shop around online for the 80 picture ink/paper pack.

Sony includes a 40 count paper/ink pack with the Dpp-Fp30 which is a very nice little bonus that allows you to print right away without purchaseing extra supplies.

Printing is easy from a computer or from my camera using the pictbridge feature. I am very pleased with the Sony Fp30 and would recommend it to anyone who wants a simple easy way to print gorgeous 4×6 pictures.

2. Besides the expensive ink and paper (although value packs are available now), this little devil is a charm with a cherry on top!

It is a bit more expensive than other dye-sub printers, but once you try it out you’ll realize it’s worth it.

One leasson I learned, never go cheap on dye-sub photo printers, they’re worth every penny and the DPP-FP30 rules them all.

What says about this photo printer:

1. I just bought this printer after using a lexmark and having nothing but problems since I upgraded to Vista. This works wonderfully. You can print, scan, copy by just using the buttons on the printer. You can even insert your memory card from your digital camera into a slot and print right from there. I have had no problems whatsoever with this printer. Just be sure to read what version of Windows it supports as I do not think it supports Windows 2000.

2. This printer installed in my computer(Vista operating system)without any problems. It produces excellent color for photographs and black text that is close to laser quality, although I use it exclusively for color printing and scanning. The scanner software also installed easily. I first purchased another brand of printer and couldn’t get the scanner software to install properly in Vista. I’ve had the printer for a month or so and have had no problems. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.

What says about this photo printer:

1. This is an excellent printer for those of you who will only use it occasionally. It has fast printing & the print quality is excellent. If you plan to scan only once in a while this will do the job. If you are a heavy scan feature user look for a printer more specific for that. I use this to print directions, some pictures, boarding passes & to make scanned PDF documents. It has worked great for my needs. If you are a heavy duty printer user I would suggest one of the higher end Pixma models.

2. I just purchased a Hewlitt Packard laptop with Vista and needed a new printer because HP refuses to make a patch to make old printers compatible with Vista.
I purchased another HP printer first and it was terrible–couldn’t get cartridges in and when I finally did, print quality was unacceptable.
So I returned HP and bought this Canon printer. Fabulous. Cartridges went in easily. Best of all, razor sharp printing.
In addition, this is Energy Star rated. I keep all my equipment plugged into a power strip. When I turn power strip on, printer remains off until I turn it on. Brilliant way to save energy!

Kodak EasyShare P720 Digital Picture Frame

Technical Details:

7-inch high quality LCD with 4:3 aspect ratio; KODAK Color Science give your pictures crisp details and vibrant colors

Kodak’s Quick Touch Border makes it easy to control your digital frames; 2 decorative mattes included

Add to the stunning digital display with decorative mattes to personalize your look and complement your home décor

KODAK EASYSHARE Software, digital frame edition makes it easy to access and drag and drop your favorite pictures from your computer directly onto your frame

2 SD card slots are available to allow you to have extra memory to view more pictures

What says about this photo frame:

1. Kodak may have been late to the digital bandwagon, but they have in recent years stepped up the quality significantly. This digital frame has plenty of memory for photos at “its” resolution. Before you look at the fact it only has a small amount of memory. The screen is small enough so that a 480×234 image looks fine. A way to get more on the frame is to purchase a really large SD Memory card and bump up the amount of storage available.

2. This very sleek looking picture frame displays your favorites photos (hundreds of them) in any way you desire, simply by using the `controls on the frame’ Quick Touch Border. This allows for super simple operation with a touch or slide of your finger, with no screen fingerprints or smudges. The touch panel features yellow lights that illuminate to tell you exactly where to touch. You can set your frame vertically or horizontally. Some photos that do not fit the typical ratio are displayed in ‘letterbox’ style.

With the enclosed software, you can easily create multimedia slide shows from your desktop and easily transfer them to your Memory card/Stick to install into your frame. Browse and edit your family or vacation photos and easily drag-and-drop pictures for slide shows. The number of photos on your Kodak Easycare frame is limited only by the size of your memory card or memory stick (not included). With an 8 GB memory card/stick, you can store over 1,600 high quality photos (there are two memory card slots).

What says about this photo frame:

1. I just received this LCD Photo Chain from Electronic Express and I was able to install the software and quickly update a handful of pictures in less then 15 minutes. The Picture Viewer program was fairly easy to use. Just pick a bunch of pictures on your drives, add them to your collection and then upload the collection to the key chain. Adding more pictures to collection later on was no problem. There is a counter on the program that will only allow you to store 62 pictures max.
As far as picture quality goes for the tiny LCD screen, I have to say that I am fairly impressed. It was relatively bright and colors were vibrant! The 128×128 pixel resolution was sufficient for viewing and it didn’t seem that grainy as compared to other LCD keychains. The best comparison of the picture quality would be to a cell phone screen with 1 megapixel images.
The make of the LCD viewer is sufficient for me but I am not sure how well it would survive key scratches and ocassional drops to the ground since the plastic feels little cheap. The buttons to power on, slideshow mode and forward & backward were intuitive.
All in all, this makes a great gift for someone who loves gadgets and is somewhat tech savvy if they are going to upload images themselves. You definitely need a connection to a computer in order to charge its internal battery. I’ve enjoyed showing this to the guys at the office and its a sure winner as a stocking stuffer for Christmas.

2. Lots of people will tell you this won’t work on XP or Vista or other operating systems. I had so much trouble at first I was going to send it back. I even called tech support and the operator said, “I’m probably not supposed to say this but these are not very working very well.”
BUT, I kept trying, and lo and behold–it DID work! First load the software. Then plug it in and select “USB upload.” You have to literally keep plugging and unplugging the device until you get that little miracle beep that signifies that your computer found new hardware. Until you hear that, keep plugging and unplugging! The software will NOT work unless it is plugged in and found. But load it anyway, and wait for the lovely beep.

What says about this photo frame:

1. This product has served the purpose my wife wanted it to. One thing I wish I knew before I bought this item is it will not play mp3s and show pics at the same time. It does have one glitch that is not a serious problem. When the unit gets warm from use, it will put lines through a picture every now and then. The only other thing I would make sure of is that you have some sort of extra external memory card. This unit does not have internal memory of any sort. Jump drives are cheap and easy to use though!

2. I am very satisfied with the COBY DP-768. It is a basic photo frame that provides all that I require. The set-up is not terribly intuitive, but not too bad. I did find that I had to experiment quite a bit in order to get my photos to properly fill the 16:9 frame. I ended up cropping my jpeg photos to 700 x 460 pixels (that is 8.75″ x 5.75″ at 80 pixels/inch). I set the frame to 16:9 format, and then set the image to “origial” size. This worked for me, but I don’t fully understand why these dimensions don’t equate to a 16:9 display proportion. I also don’t understand why photos cropped to match the instruction manual display resolution of 480 x 234 pixels did not work well for me. At those setting, the image did not come close to filling the screen. I feel that the instruction manual was lacking in describing the process required to properly crop photos to an acceptable format. My camera only takes images in 4:3 format, so some tinkering was required.

What says about this photo frame:

1. I searched websites trying to find an easy to use photo frame with 4:3 ratio and good resolution. I found this one at a store and thought I’d try it out. I was worried it would be difficult to set up given that I have a Mac computer. This wasn’t the case at all. I hooked it up to the computer with the USB cable, highlighted the photos I wanted on the frame and drug them to the frame’s icon on my desktop. So easy.
The only thing I didn’t like (and it could just be my camera, 5 megapixel) is that the pictures that are vertical were not as clear as the horizontal pictures. Overall, I think it is a good frame and easy to use.

What says about this photo frame:

1. The Philips 7-Inch LCD Digital Photo Frame (Black) hit enough of my key needs to be worth the cash for me. If you’re like me, the thought of a $150 digital photo frame is simply over the top. The cost of these guys hasn’t really come down too much in general. That was the main reason it took me so long to pull the trigger on one of these.

2. I am a professional photographer that relies on clarity as well as functionality use this product in presentations as well as helping me sell my photographs.
This product offers me the clarity and ease of operation I need. The clarity is as good as frames more than twice the price. The ease of operation makes it even more appealing. If you are looking for high quality at a great price I couldn’t recommend this product more.
I looked at frames at twice the price and decides on this one. It’s a truly professional product and a great value.

Decodes and displays up to 48-megapixel and 100MB images

What says about this photo frame:

1. A DPF has been on our wishlist for a long time but we have been put off by the reviews, mostly critical. Sony has now come up with a pricey but solid, well built, attractive and intuitively programmed unit with an LCD screen that presents supurb images. It includes lots of image display and data presentation options to tinker with. It would be nice if it had a battery, if for no other reason than to facilitate loading it from the computer, since the corded transformer is clunky and so heavy that it can drag the unit off the table. Clock functions are counter-intuitive and poorly described in the manual. Sony says that the TIFF image file format is compatable but we found that not to be the case. So instead, we Photoshop-converted our Web GIF photos to BMP, which worked fine.
In all, DPF’s have finally arrived with this Sony product. We’re delighted with it.

2. Sony has a specific target audience in mind when they developed the S-Frames. This is not for you if you want to show lots of photos, enough to max out the 200 MB of usable space (that’s more than enough for me – if I want to show more photos I can clear out the old photos for more), and is not for the bargain hunter. If you value picture quality, this is it. I leaned toward the DPF-D70, as I find its larger brother to be costlier and a bit too big for my needs.
